The Chapter 1 webinar begins with a general discussion of topic development. From there, we focus on the purpose, expectations, and non-methodological sections of Chapter 1 of the dissertation. Sections covered include the background of the study, research problem, purpose of the study, theoretical framework, and significance. Chapter alignment is also covered.
