Tips for Quantitative Survey Research

In this presentation, we provide recommendations and tips for conducting a successful quantitative survey. Topics of discussion may include selection of appropriate questions and instruments to align with your research questions, how to construct and administer your survey, and special considerations for longitudinal (e.g., pretest/posttest) surveys. This presentation focuses specifically on survey research involving primary data collection and does not include discussions about the use of secondary (archival) data or qualitative data collection methods.
