Statistics Solutions works with many Capella University students, helping them complete their dissertation in accordance with Capella University’s requirements.
The Capella University Dissertation Format Guidelines is a document produced by Capella University to help students with preparing the format of their dissertations. Capella University’s dissertation publisher, ProQuest, does not provide format editing. Students of Capella University are also responsible for following APA style (as found in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association). The Guidelines explain perceived (not actual) discrepancies some students find between APA format and Capella’s required format.
The Capella Guidelines explain basic format issues, such as how to handle special pages (e.g., the title page and the appendices), page margins, headings, lists, block quotes, and references. The Guidelines provide numerous samples for comparison and instruction.
The Capella Guidelines also discuss how to format tables and figures, using many illustrations and examples.
Capella University’s Guidelines also address several larger issues, such as how to deal with copyright, plagiarism, and intellectual property issues, and how to protect research participant confidentiality.
